Interesting seeing the video of the screen shots of the controller screen with 1x 2.5x and 6x

Either means...

24mm (1x) 50mm (2.5x) and 144mm (6x) - but that would mean changing both telephotos to lower magnifications than what's on the Mavic 3 Pro

...or

28mm (1x) 70mm (2.5x) and 166mm (6x) - means they are only changing the main lens

I'm assuming most users of the Mavic 3 are happy with the tele lengths and having a 50mm doesn't seem like a very big range difference from the 24mm. Also with 90degree upward movement maybe a 24mm lens is too wide? So I'm guessing the second configuration could be more likely. Assuming they will have FreePano you can effectively make your image as wide as you like.

Personally I'm hoping for the second option. I guess we will have to wait and see...

I don't give a cr@p what it looks like to be honest as long as it brings new functionality we can use to create, having more motion in the gimble is exciting as hell to be honest.

I don't care much for looks either, I just find it to be an interesting design choice from the traditional shape of a Mavic.

It looks like it would prevent the camera shake you get when the current boxy cube camera housing gets hit by strong winds from the side.

I think people are going to have sticker shock once this is released. I could see it north of $3k before any combo kits.

That alone makes this worth it. The Mavic 3 Pro gimbal bobs it's head more than ... well you get the idea.

I'm worried that the tariff on China will push up the price $300 in addition to a higher cost form DJI. Could be a really pricey drone. Maybe that tariff will get negotiated away.

If they overprice it on launch date, they can always lower the price later. It is smart as a seller to test what the market will tolerate.

The color artifacts are probably not the sensor but rather the optics. And anybody who shoots 100Mpx stills deserves everything coming their way My cell phone has a 200Mpx camera module in it and I still don't understand why. Anything more than 12 Mpx out of that sensor (2x quad downsamoling) is complete garbage. 25 Mpx is more than enough.

Yeah the Mavic 4pro seems a bit luxurious for most of drone pilots, but when it comes out, imma gonna buy it, and I don’t care what people are going to say. If I want to have the most expensive drone for the most expensive photo camera quality, then I shall buy it! I just hope the Mavic 4 pro isn’t so expensive that I can’t afford it. I’m gonna sure have to register it because if I don’t register it, heck! I could be in for some big trouble. And I just hope I get a brand new remote with great battery life, and an online App Store, not an apple App Store, but an android version of the App Store.
Once I have the DJI Mavic 4 pro, imma going to test out all its features and make sure that the company DJI got all of the software right the first time. Cuz I’m not gonna go out flying, and have the Mavic 4 pro drone crash because of software failure, that would be totally horrendous! Once I test out all of the features, I do hope the drone is very stable, like more stable then the DJI Air 3. On the very first day that I get the Mavic 4 pro, I gotta be very careful, cuz it’s soo expensive, and I might not know how to use the features.
I hope I say: the Mavic 4 pro rocks!!!

Seeing the leaked pictures of the significantly beefed up cooling, it must be for sensor/processor cooling and news of the rumoured jump in internal storage must point to the Mavic 4 Pro shooting at least 6K (and 24MP stills).

The extra stop on the lenses should then make up for the extra resolution and we hopefully get the improved processing and more modern sensor design tech from the Air 3S giving gains in dynamic range making this drone potentially very a tasty upgrade.

It better have improved technology OVER the Air 3S which has enough owners not exactly happy with the main sensor for still photos.Do not want to hear about video,which DJI now seems to cater to.

Air 3 (3S) is a 12MP drone....... end of story.

It was never going to be a great photography drone with so little resolution however, unbelievably good for video.

I forgot to add, this is only after falling for the hype and buying an Air 3 last year over the Mavic.

I shoot 90% video with mine so not a massive issue but a disappointment all the same.

I shoot 99% stills,currently with a non dJI product but with probably a better camera than an Air 3S for still photos.
