mavic back from repair: can i activate refresh

Hi all, my almost new mavic is back at home, after breaking the gimball plate at the first indoor flight attempt i got the machine back.

As the application is asking me to Activate the machine, i am wondering, am i still in time to buy a Care refresh service and to link it to the device? thanks in advance for your help!
 
I think you can still buy care refresh up to 48 hours after activation
 
You can try to buy refresh after activation. Worst case scenario would be that you get declined for some reason because it's been more than 48 hours since you initially activated it. But if you can prove to DJI that the Drone is still in perfect condition they will cover you with refresh.
 
Btw how much $ and how long did it take for the repair?
tried this morning, but system doesn't let me buy refresh... i would argue that a machine that just came back from their repair center should be in perfect conditions hence they should allow us to buy refresh.... Anyhow....

Regarding the repair i got lucky... or they got pity of me.... they performed the repair for free, was only the gimball plate broken, the drone had 6 minutes of air time! and fell from 35 cm height on my first excited indoor flight.... Lesson learned, won't fly it indoor ever again!

After 48 hours, you can activate DJI Care by following this process.
thanks mate for the link, wondering how does it work, because if i want to purchase the refresh from DJI site, they will ask me for the serial number which eventually will block the procedure because activated over 48h ago.... will they unlock the SN once they verify the video? i repeat, drones coming from service should be enabled to get care refresh... but who am i to say that!

Perhaps you should contact DJI support and ask them before you go through the trouble of submitting a video.

I went over the 48 hours. I shot the video following all the steps they require, once they send you an email to say everything is ok you have 72 hours to purchase and avtivate refresh.

I activated refresh more than 48h after activation. I had to do the whole song and dance video (took about 30 minutes to prepare, about 9 minutes for the video). You'll need someone to film the process. Print out the process and go step by step carefully (there are a few small things that you can't miss any of them). You cant edit or cut the video, just post it as is on youtube.

I actually activated the care refresh before! Now I will get a replacement because the unit was faulty. So the care refresh is passed on to the new one right??
 
from what I know, you get two replacements total. If you used one already, you still get a second replacement option. You are not supposed to reactivate (unless the replacement was not part of refresh, but was a warranty replacement).
 
Yes it was a warranty replacement. The seller is sending me a new combo

Else they would have asked me for the 97 bucks
