Mine does not hover in one spot, you have to make small adjustments continuously, it obviously can't hold position without GPS but it's a cheap drone

My son got this guy for Christmas. I tell you what, after flying the Mavic, this thing is a pain!!! I forgot how having to adjust the trim can be no fun.

Overall though, it is a neat, cheap, little fun toy to pass time with inside during the cold winter months.
