...I've installed the APK stuff, tried starting things in this order: Drone, controller then tablet but it still wont connect (using the USB cable that came with the charger or the one that came with the Mavic).
Weird thing is, the first time I used the tablet with DJI Go 4 "since P4" it worked great (using the short micro USB that came with the drone) . then I let the OS update and began having the problem. I reset the tablet to factory (the way it arrived) with no success. (Oops, just checked, the tablet has updated the OS even though I had it set to "manual."
Still works on iPhone 7 and Galaxy J7 phone just not with this sweet big bright Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 model# SM-T813.

BTW: DJI Go 4 "Since" defaults to the Mavic II every time and its possible I entered that "device" when (and the only time) it connected.
