Mavic pro shipped from china

I ordered my mavic pro 5 days ago and got the shipment confirmation today. It says on the tracking info that it's being sent from China. Do they not ship out of the US and will i be taxed when my drone arrives in the US? Thanks

Yes, DJI also ships from the US. I prefer shipments from China though since they always get to me faster (3-4 business days max). You will not be taxed when your drone arrives.
