Water resistance will be on Mavic Pro version 4 . Just like the evolution of smartphones. I have flown mine in fog and the arms were wet but top and bottom were dry.

Version 4? Why not on the third?

The body has a warm heatsink when flying so condensation only settles on the cool parts, being the arms.

Just had an excruciatingly nervy return flight with my Mavic yesterday. 12000 feet out over a bay, rain comes on, spitting at first. Return to home. Rain gets increasingly heavier.

Visions of lost at sea enter the head. Another Mavic flying close by disappears quickly, presumably taken down as soon as rain started.

Mavic returned safely. Footage epic. Worth it.
