Mavic recorded video sideways this run, is it something in my settings?

Hello,

I have done 2 previous flights with my Mavic & the video was.. This time i changed the setting to 1080p & it plays sideways on Windows media player on my PC... Did i mess up a setting? Need to reset something??

You bumped down on the 5-way joystick/button. It switches the view from landscape to portrait. Just bump it down again, and it'll toggle back to landscape. The other way to switch it is by tapping the rotate button just above the record button on the app.

It's a nice feature for pano still shots, but quite useless for video. Unless, of course, you have your wide-screen TV mounted vertically.

Does that disable it so you won't accidentally enable it again?

BTW, the first image you posted shows the one-click way to turn it on/off. I don't think people use it often enough to warrant a dedicated soft (or hard) button:

Uh no, that's the photo/video mode toggle, nothing to do with orientation.
