I need help figuring out what happened to cause my Mavic 3 to become a submarine. My son was flying, getting some video footage for a project. It was in his second battery, bringing it in to land. Unfortunately, he was landing on a dock and said it veered suddenly and went into the murky water of Merchant Mill Pond in NC. Thank you for any help figuring out what happened, I have flown this aircraft for many miles and years without incident. Mourning...

Appreciate the help!
This one is a mystery.
Your flight data shows the incident, but I'm unable to see anything that points to the cause of the incident.

Your flight appears to be normal until the last few seconds.
At 18:05.5 with the drone hovering, it rolled 28° to the left without any corresponding joystick input.
After that the drone's ability to maintain height is affected and it begins to lose height.
The drone corrects the roll.
You pushed the left stick up to the max, but the drone continued to lose height.

I don't see anything in the flight log data indicating that activity.

Is it possible he crashed into one of these poles?
