Mavic4 Pro

My Mini 5 Pro Combo with RC-N3 is being properly declared by my S. Korean seller who said "No USA Tariffs" in the listing title.

The Description, Harmonized Code, and Country of Manufacture are all authentic and truthful. Hopefully, no tariff bill upon delivery! Seller must have already prepaid them on his end, if he can legitimately put "No USA Tariffs" in the eBay listing title.

Separately purchased regular battery was also properly declared on its Commodity Information.

Look under the "shipping details" link under the shipping section for access to the Commodity Information.

This seems to be in line with the Chinese sellers on eBay which are all marked as "No additional charges or fees or tariffs at checkout, not expected to pay more." Perhaps this is a pause on China or they're all prepaid or something else going on with China that we don't know about. If only all Korean and Japanese sellers would properly mark their shipments as China......?

May have something to do with this? I'm not sure . They could be paying the tariffs themselves or declaring the item at a much lower value and paying a much lower tariff.

Supreme Court Rules Trump's Tariffs illegal, but tariffs can still continue until October.
just a quibble, but that's an Appeals Court ruling, not a SCOTUS ruling. It's been appealed
Yes I did say October, which is when the appeal hearing is.
I know what I'd like to see but I'm afraid it's going to be more of the same and SCOTUS will likely not cancel the tariffs and force the government to reimburse any money. They'll probably say if Congress wants to speak up and do something about it, they're more than welcome to but we're not going to "interfere." Hearing and dates are basically moot; take advantage now while it seems like some tariff confusion is abound.

Except this is a South Korean seller, accurately declaring manufactured in China, and NO TARIFFS TO USA on the eBay listing title.

I'm guessing they are prepaying the tariffs based upon a lower declared value, but I am not privy to the declared value under the Commodity Info to be certain that is their strategy. .

The country of manufacture is specified as China, but the description of "DJI MINI PRO FLY MORE COMBO" is a little vague, leaving room for a lower value of $250 on an older used DJI Mavic Mini Fly More Combo for example, even though the Mavic is missing and there was no Mavic Mini Pro.

You made me look both of my deliveries, there was no Clearance details there on ether, maybe that is only when you check while in transit, but commodity Info on both one before 8/29 and the after, listed KR as the country of manufacture, with one listed as REMOTE CONTROLLED DRONE FOR RECREATIONAL USE, WIT and the other as DJI MAVIC PRO FLY MORE COMBO

I, too, have never been able to get the Clearance Detail to show any data even during shipment like now. Frustrating, but the Commodity Data shows country of manufacture and Description which have never been accurate before now. Your second one is exactly as mine, likely with a minimal declared value, based off an original Mini 1 or 2 price rather than the Mini 5 Pro.

Thank you for your message.
Customs duties are determined by customs at your port, so we cannot comment on that.
We usually declare the shipment value at around $800.
Please take a look at our feedback, our customers are very happy.
It seems that most buyers have not been charged any duties, but we cannot say for sure.
If anything comes up, please resolve it yourself in order to receive the item.

This is the reply I got when I asked the seller how they avoided the tariffs in custom duties. I bought the M4P creator combo from SAO trading Inc. In Japan.

I agree, there has been very little feedback from drone buyers claiming they have been charged customs fees and duties especially when the shipments are marked with country of origin: Japan or South Korea (which your seller did not mention). I have personal experience with both countries for drones and accessories. However, the minimum value doesn't seem to be taking effect either. Not sure about China but I believe they are included in all this.

So, on eBay even though the listing is marked with language that seems to indicates "tariffs will apply" I think it's safe to assume it means "tariffs *might* apply" and I think it's a reach to assume the seller has paid your tariffs on your behalf but instead, we should lean towards no tariffs were collected at all either due to deception or incompetence. Again, my only experience is with FedEx and I have seen only a few cases with UPS collecting tariffs and finally, if your shipment comes via DHL, you can count on it. USPS, no idea.
