My friend borrowed my MPP and encountered some serious wind. Not only did it not hold position, he was being blown by almost 10mph. had to make it back in sport mode. But got me to thinking, what is the max wind for GPS hold?? Never seen a stat(that I recall). Would it be the same as full pitch on the control??? Would it try to hold and go into full pitch?? Anyone know??? Thx Bolton

I've not yet flown in winds strong enough to blow either of them around, but my old P4 and the new M2Pro appear to approach maximum P-mode tilt by themselves in order to hold position. My guess is that their maximum P mode speed is going to be the limit for wind speed.

Mavic 2 was still stable in 55Km/h winds, which should be higher than P mode speed though...

I don't fly in high winds. It's just not worth risking the worst case scenario. But that's just me being a wimp and loving my M2Z

I’m impressed at how well it does hold in high winds. I was grounded due to recent Santa Ana winds in So Cal, but watched someone else’s M2P holding steady in gusts up to 40kph (about 25mph). No way would I have tried it, nice to know it’s capabilities based on watching someone else’s experimental flying.

This. My MP1 says upward to 25mph....im scared sh**less at anything over about 10mph or so... 25mph is A TON OF WIND
