Micro SD card too slow, why?

Hi

I just got my Mavic Air yesterday. Based on what I read in the forums here I got several of these micro sd cards: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XWN9Q99/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The description says that they are U3 cards that support 4k video and 100MB/s. However after firing up the drone for my first test flight yesterday it says that the micro sd card isn't fast enough to support recording. Any idea why? I'm pretty sure that I read on another thread here somewhere that others were using this card successfully with the Mavic Air. If this isn't the right card any suggestions for what would be a reliable and cost effective one to use?

The link you showed is a U1 card that would be too slow to handle 100mbs transfer rate. I know there is some debate on which card is best, but Sandisk seems to be the most reliable. Go with the Extreme line SD U3 cards and you should be okay.

Amazon description says U3, but image shows U1. However that's only for the 32GB card. The bigger ones have U3 in the picture of the card.

V30 and higher. The V30 or higher is what matters.
