3D printed case, hold drone and case vertical and set it in. No need for gimbal protecter but you can use it if desired. This is designed to protect the mini 2 while it is in a bag or backpack.

FWIW I have been using this and it works perfect. It is designed to be used without the gimbal guard and you simply drop the Mini2 in it
