Mini 3 Auto Focus Hunting

I have noticed that the camera auto focus is hunting over a few seconds as I pan around in my back yard. Is this normal.

Autofocus is a bad idea on drones (and most video applications, for that matter) for the exact reason you have experienced, just use manual focus and never worry about it again. More here:
