Hello
I noticed that the Mavic has a mini usb port on the side. What is it used for?
I thought that updates are done through the controller.
Thanks

That port can also be used to retrieve DAT flight logs from the Mavic's internal memory card or transfer the photos/videos from the removable memory card.

Dear DJI (or any developer): Any chance this mini USB port (on side of aircraft) might also be connected in such a way that a future SW/firmware upgrade could expose some GPIO (general purpose IO) for hobbyists looking to control (w/ power) a small DIY daughter board ?? (Might be easier than what everyone else is doing - strapping opto switches to the LEDs to switch on/off logic)....just wonderin'. I searched GPIO on this forum and got nothin' for hits.

I'm with Iocoman. Bit baffled by this post.

Hamltnlbue is posting about a second mini USB port on the logic board that is accessible by opening the drone.
I want to know if I can reset/change UIDs and serial numbers of the drone
