I'm not sure what it's called but the newer drones have a mission planning option where you can fly your drone to points and plot them along with POI which can later be used to fly a specific course automatically. Is the M2EA capable of this sort of planning or can we only do it poking the map on the controller?

Edit: Sorry, meant the M2EA, not M3

@Corp_T i believe you are referring to a waypoints mission
if you go to page 75 of the manual it explains it all there

I edited my original post but I'm asking about the M2EA not M3E.

For example the Mavic 3 allows you to fly to a specific point, tap C1 to log a waypoint, and then fly to each subsequent point. Is there a way to do that with the M2EA or just through the map screen?

You can do that with Litchi.

Yes, the Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced can do waypoints.

You can:

Record a waypoint mission by flying it manually and hitting C1 to log the waypoint while also telling it when to take a photo or start a recording.

You can also plan the waypoint mission on the map.

Both settings would be in Mission Flight on the opening screen on DJI Pilot.

It is located in the User Manual starting on page 49.
