I like the Strobon White Cree. I was looking at a Lumecube myself but wasn’t impressed by the size/ weight. What’s the best way to mount the Cree? Can I do a bottom mount on my MM and will they ship to the US? Thank you!

The Lume cube is too heavy for a MM, I use two of them for my P4P and one on my MPP

On the Mavic Mini best place to mount a Strobon Cree is at the back, on the battery door
If you check out in their website there is an option for the U.S shipping.

At 94 grams does that put the MM into "payload mode" ?

I did not get any message appear for it, as of yet. I believe that the strobe is lighter than the prop guards that the MM uses so that could be why no message. Maybe if your using the prop guards and the strobe you might get a message then.
But it will be over the FAA weight limit which wasn't an issue for me because I already had my MM registered.
