Motor not spinning

I got out my mini 2 yesterday. Worked fine about a month ago. How does a motor go bad in between uses?

3 motors start, but when one doesn’t spin, it shuts down completely.

I’m the only one in the house, no one else could have messed with it. It’s updated with latest software.

That one motor feels stiff compared to the other 3. I saw some posts about stiff motors, but no solution other than to send it in.

I have no idea what went wrong. Maybe bird poop landed in the motor and hardened up. Or tree sap. Any ideas?

Other than common sense to clean a motor with a safe cleaning spray (To protect plastics) or similar, your only option is to send it in. If your still under warranty all the better :)
Your issue is extremely rare if defective...contact DJI.

I would start with a can of compressed air and blow the "Crap" out of it from all angles while turning the motor slowly, sounds like a good example of a particulate that may have become lodged in that one motor perhaps upon landing from last flight?
