They rarely doI doubt "Karen" is going to go away anytime soon.
Timmy or Jimmy would be better!I really wish we wouldn't use Karen or Jessica or any other woman's name. Using a man's name, maybe 'Donald,' would take the sexism out of it.
Drone flyers run into them constantly...I think better things can be discussed on a "drone" forum other than girl names.
I am used to this term and have no problem identifying people of either sex with it. Let's face it, there are people out there like this and we need a nice name that is not naughty to identify them. Karen is part of the US lexicon.Karen is no longer the ‘it’ name for people who complain:
Absolutely. Do you like Jessica as the new replacement name for Karen?I am used to this term and have no problem identifying people of either sex with it. I have a very decent and nice friend named Jessica, so I am sticking with Karen, which is a perfect name in my opinion. Karen is a perfect name for a busybody/scold (A.K.A., PIA).Absolutely. Do you like Jessica as the new replacement name for Karen?
Or will you stick to Karen?
I hear ya. Its kinda like the metric system. I still use feet and inches instead of millimeters.I have a very decent and nice friend named Jessica, so I am sticking with Karen, which is a perfect name in my opinion. Karen is a perfect name for a busybody/scold (A.K.A., PIA).

Canada uses the metric system as the official unit. You are from Canada, I see. Love it there. Did an Alberta/British Colombia photo trip there last year.I hear ya. Its kinda like the metric system. I still use feet and inches instead of millimeters.
Canada uses the metric, but I prefer the imperial system. Ingrained since youth...Canada uses the metric system as the official unit. You are from Canada, I see. Love it there. Did an Alberta/British Colombia photo trip there last year.
Yes- Andrew, Aug. 16.1992. We lost 2/3rds of our roof and had an $90K claim. We were out of AC in hot, humid south Fla. temperatures for 3 weeks before we got our power back. We are still in that house.Canada uses the metric, but I prefer the imperial system. Ingrained since youth...
I see you are Florida based. I love it there. Last time I was there Hurricane Andrew hit the region. I had to move my personal aircraft to Valdosta to avoid damage from the storm. Viewing the damage afterwards when it was safe to fly was incredible.
I quite agree. This is VERY off topic!I think better things can be discussed on a "drone" forum other than girl names.
