This is why I vehemently refuse to fly birds over water. No picture is worth the headache of having to recover the AC, if that's even possible, for a care refresh claim or repair

that’s why I have All State insurance on my drone. No need to recover the AC. If it flies away or drops in the ocean, it is covered.

Diluted down to homeopathic levels. And far lower levels than the amount of animal excrement and everything else in it.
Its a non issue.

My guess is the water folks don't want to set any precedents for people going in to the reservoir for any reason.

Most do some periodic cleaning. You could possibly talk to them to see if they can pull it up for you when they do. I'd think a couple of six packs of something good might help.
