MPP vs MP - Is it worth it or better to get MP and buy new props?

One thing not mentioned is the higher difficulty in rolling back firmware on the Platinum (and late versions of the MP). If you get a refurb or older production MP, you won't have to crack it open to add an SD card in order to roll back the firmware. For those not needing that or who would never dream of "hacking" their Mavic, it makes no difference. But if you wish to fly with less restrictions and not void your warranty, you'll need a MP, not a Platinum.

It's worth it for working 1080p/60.

That's you're business, personally I would not do anything to annoy my neighbours.
As for you're Harley if you ride it here with loud pipes the police will defect you're bike, fine you, and it will have to be Trailered home, have legal pipes fitted and then Sound-tested at the Registry before you can use it again.
And that's the way it should be.

No that’s not the way it should be. A Harley you can’t hear is just another motorcycle. A Harley you can hear is music to a motor heads ears and an American icon.
