I have a Phantom 4 Pro drone that I use with a small ipad as the controller. I also have the Mini 4 Pro and the RC 2 controller. I plan to buy a third drone, either the Air 3S or the new Mavic when it is released.

How do others deal with multiple drones and controllers? Simpler is better and I would like to use the RC 2 with whichever new drone I buy. I prefer not to have two RC 2 controllers if possible.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sorry Welcome to the DJI eco-system You will just have to put up with the extra controllers until DJI decides to become less greedy and produce a Module for other controllers ( you know like every other controller Code Maker does)

As with so many companies the assumption is that a customer/user will only have one model and nothing else. At least with the RC 2 the user interface should be the same?

A dedicated controller or tablet for each drone will always be best. It avoids cross contamination from updates necessary to support newer models that change the functionality of the original drone. GEO and RID are just two examples of forced changes from trying to use the same device with multiple drones. Foolishly updating device OS can also force an unintended update of the flying app. Caveat emptor!

Another reason I really don't like the screened RC's using the FLY app... which is overpopulated with too many DJI model variants and is a terrible resource-hog as a result.
