'With my mavic pro zoom is there an option that would allow two people to view the flight in real time ? independently ? Say the operator and the operators wife ?
If by chance you mean a mavic 2 pro or zoom then the answer is yes, via a "slave" or "secondary" controller with an attached screen. The linking procedure is in the manual.
The slave also has the ability to control the drone but the master/primary has precedence.
If you go this route, label the controllers. The slave has a very limited ability to change settings and going out with the slave instead of the primary could cause problems if you discovered your mistake whilst the drone is in flight and you needed to change settings. If you discovered the mistake whilst on the ground then you can just relink the slave to be the primary.
From what I have seen the slave does not record flight logs but checking that was an afterthought and I can't guarantee I checked correctly
It might also be possible via goggles but it's a fair while since I used goggles with my mavic 2 and I can't remember if use of the goggles shuts down the controller's screen.
If low latency is not important, then you could screen cast from the controlling device (connected to the controller) to the viewing device.
The best way to do this is to set up a hotspot on the controlling device without cellular connection and connect the viewing device to the hotspot network. Then you can use the "apowermirror" app on both device to connect then and screen cast from the controlling device.
Hi all Been experimenting with the Epson BT-300 and casting DJI Fly from an android device (Samsung S8) without both devices being connected to wi-fi network (internet) This solution allows you to have only the BT-300 glasses/ controller box and your phone in the field using the mobile hotspot...
