My Adorama Mavic 4 Pro Fly More Combo Post-Purchase Experiences

With no warranty and Adorama not accepting any returns your holding the ball if the drone arrives defective and of course if damaged.

If that's the case then why aren't Adorama Purchasers of the Mavic 4 Pro able to get Care Refresh?
The Adorama statement says it will support Care which means as soon as DJI has it up and running in the US, then the drone you bought from Adorama will support it.

Adorama purchasers have not been able to get Care because DJI has temporarily blocked the Care signup. The "Buy Care" button does not exist. It's not because the drone falls in Category #1. One day we hope DJI will turn it on and you will be able to sign up. At present, M4P drones from both Category #1 *and* Category #2 cannot get Care.

Basically the message from Adorama is to US residents to buy your drones from us (and Authorized US reseller) so you are eligible for Care and Warranty from the US instead of buying them from Canada or South Korea where you are not eligible for Care and Warranty from the US.

Care and Warranty are two different things. HTH

Chickened out: This post probably belongs in A3S section however I had full intentions of flying the MP4P since I took both my A3S and MP4PCC to a beautiful lake in BC, Canada over the weekend; got permission from the park ranger to fly the drone over the lake, promised to avoid photos/videos of strangers on the beach or their watercrafts. Despite having DJI care on both drones (one in US and other in Canada), I ended up only flying the A3S, which we know is superb in its own rights; took totally non-professional videos of the lake and mountains. I was so tense since it was the first time I flew either drone over a lake surrounded by imposing mountains, in BC even though we live less than 1000' from the ocean in WA.

The wind was blowing at least 10-15mph on the ground and was probably more at 393' (my maximum set height), but as we all know these drones hold steady like rock. My take off area was fairly close to 110' tall trees, went straight up a few times and a couple of times between a wide gap facing the lake. All landings were executed using RTH although each final landing from 5' required manual intervention due to environment issues. I'll definitely fly the MP4PCC next time I visit there.
