Mine is arriving Thursday! Just signed the signature release.Just checked the status of my Mavic......it's on the way, should be here tomorrow.
With no warranty and Adorama not accepting any returns your holding the ball if the drone arrives defective and of course if damaged.
If that's the case then why aren't Adorama Purchasers of the Mavic 4 Pro able to get Care Refresh?Adorama sells drones in category #2.
The Adorama statement says it will support Care which means as soon as DJI has it up and running in the US, then the drone you bought from Adorama will support it.If that's the case then why aren't Adorama Purchasers of the Mavic 4 Pro able to get Care Refresh?
I can understand you apprehension! I have almost the same setup. I have the Air 3S in a hardcase and the M4P FMC in a hard case, the exact same one as your! Ha! I'm still hoping to sell my M4P FMC because like some other folks in the thread, I got an M4P CC from Adorama arriving tomorrow!Chickened out: This post probably belongs in A3S section however I had full intentions of flying the MP4P since I took both my A3S and MP4PCC to a beautiful lake in BC, Canada over the weekend; got permission from the park ranger to fly the drone over the lake, promised to avoid photos/videos of strangers on the beach or their watercrafts. Despite having DJI care on both drones (one in US and other in Canada), I ended up only flying the A3S, which we know is superb in its own rights; took totally non-professional videos of the lake and mountains. I was so tense since it was the first time I flew either drone over a lake surrounded by imposing mountains, in BC even though we live less than 1000' from the ocean in WA.
The wind was blowing at least 10-15mph on the ground and was probably more at 393' (my maximum set height), but as we all know these drones hold steady like rock. My take off area was fairly close to 110' tall trees, went straight up a few times and a couple of times between a wide gap facing the lake. All landings were executed using RTH although each final landing from 5' required manual intervention due to environment issues. I'll definitely fly the MP4PCC next time I visit there.

Do you mean an Adorama M4P CC?Looks like it shipped. I am definitely concerned about returning it if the camera is off in any way.
Yep, I have had de-centered optics from DJI in several cases and while acceptable for some, it’s a no go for me. From what I am gathering in most early reports the optics are fairing well so far in the samples that are being delivered.Do you mean an Adorama M4P CC?

Eager to see if your CC cameras meet the approval of your discerning eye. If it passes the KS-6 test, the Mavic 4 Pro will be properly vetted! Here is to hoping!
You can buy Adorama's Assurion insurance protection today for the Mavic 4 Pro. It's expensive at $500/yr, but if you require that peace of mind, and can't get a State Farm PAP for $100 a year that covers drones too, there are many alternatives to Care Refesh for insuring your drone, so you can use it before Hell freezes over. There will be no Care Refresh on it in the U.S. until the Mavic 4 Pro is also officially available for sale in the U.S by DJI, which may never happen before the defacto DJI ban at the end of December, barring passing a security audit before then, which no one wants to perform.… because like some other folks in the thread, I got an M4P CC from Adorama arriving tomorrow!
as for the CC that's coming, I am not even going to open the box until DJI provides Care Refresh coverage is offered. .
Every time I see a discussion or article about a potential ban, I think about getting the M4P CC and keeping it sealed to be opened later just in case the availability goes to zero in the closing months. I have been known to keep drones 6-8 months before getting to them especially over the winter months. I guess sometimes I have a bit of FOMO going on so I'll keep my eye on this thread. Next up, early July when the tariffs will get locked in, apparently at the 50% level.I can understand you apprehension! I have almost the same setup. I am not flying my M4P FMC since I am selling it and as for the CC that's coming I am not even going to open the box until DJI provides Care Refresh coverage is offered. In the meantime I will fly my Air 3S and Avata 2.
For those scratching their head about me ordering the CC before selling the FMC, I'm well aware I could have made better buying choices. Instead of buying the FMC and then turning around and putting it up for sale and then ordering a CC! Crazy man! I should have just bought the CC from the get go.
Sorry for going down a rabbit hole! Lol!

Tariffs, based off the DrDrone surcharges from Canada to the U.S. are now 55% which is built into the Adorama prices. Is that close enough?Every time I see a discussion or article about a potential ban, I think about getting the M4P CC and keeping it sealed to be opened later just in case the availability goes to zero in the closing months.
