ok...I've been dithering with myself for weeks about getting a new drone before the sky falls. I had decided if I did I would pay the premium and get a Mavic 4 Pro Creator package

I would have preferred Amazon but they had none that were actually fulfilled by Amazon. Big no-no. Adorama was way to expensive. So was US Drone Supply

so that left EBay. Now, there were several offers from South Korea and Japan. The cheapest was under $3,100; but the delivery date was after Christmas, at earliest, and of course that was after the NDAA deadline on the 23rd. There were 3 or 4 offers from Asian companies that had 99%+ positive ratings for around $3,400 (after adding shipping). Those said delivery by mid-December and some claimed no tariffs. So that put the semi-realistic options at around $3,400.

But I did find one from Triplehorse for $3,600. So, about $200 more than the baseline. However, this was a company shipping from the USA. The City of Industry in California. They had over 800 ratings and they were 100% positive. Free shipping with the claim of 2-3 days shipping time

so I threw the dice, crossed my fingers and took the plunge. I'm in Oregon and I ordered the drone at 4:30 PM Monday afternoon. The brand new, in original packaging, drone arrived at my house at 12:30 PM Wednesday...today. I carefully unpacked and by 1:30 PM I had not only booted up the controller and powered up the drone, I had logged into DJI and activated the drone, then paired the drone and controller. By 3PM today I took my first practice flight....less than 48 hours after ordering. Every thing worked just fine. And of course, the drone and RC Pro 2 seem awesome at first flight. Time will tell I guess

anyway, my experience was 100% positive. I'm impressed with Triplehorse

Triplehorse price is now $3800 plus tax, and terms of sale state "No returns."
That being said, the $3600 deal you got is even better!

You definitely bagged a great deal from eBay. The final price would include sales tax, right?

still at $3599 here:

🔥 DJI Mavic 4 Pro Drone Creator Combo with RC Pro 2 🔥 FREE 2 DAY ✈️ FROM USA | eBay

I'm not sure why the 200 dollar difference although I suspect is that it's the difference between Triplehors shipping in the USA and them shipping overseas....maybe that's not the case though

and yeah, the "no returns' policy was a concern, but EBay does have a 30-60 day window for a money-back guarantee. How true that is I don't know but I have read that EBay does stand behind that guarantee. A problem was that the price, with return policies at Adorama and US Drone Supply was $1300 more.

And there were no available Mavic 4's at Amazon that were actually shipped and fulfilled by Amazon. That's not really a problem if all you're getting is a book or a 10 pound box of Quaker Oats. For any device over 100 dollars it's a big risk

in any event, everything about the drone is working perfectly so far. I've had two flights now but neither one was much more than 100 feet high and 400 feet horizontal. That's all I'll risk till I get the drone listed on my personal property insurance...which should be later today

Yes, but only because the state of Oregon has no state sales tax.
Here in WA we have 10% and its 11% in BC; it is what it is. :(

Odd that he simultaneously still has two listings at different prices, but if someone can't find the Cyber Week listing, he'll gladly take $200 more! LOL!

Even the best Amazon Marketplace price, shipped by Amazon, was $4,000, when it was available, so you got a great deal at $3600 for a U.S. based seller with no sales tax. I would buy from him myself, despite the no returns. He's responsive to inquiries when I asked about a Matrice 4T, which he can also source.

Enjoy!
