My gimbal icon on smart controller

The gimbal icon on general settings doesn’t come up. The gimbal status in aircraft status is N/A. I have gotten warnings of the gimbal cover being left on and it isn’t. But every now and then it will just pop up while I’m messing with it but not always. Just wondering if there’s a easy fix I can do without sending it to dji. Also I cannot stand to be grounded any help would be appreciated thanks. This is my first post
