Need a Good National Forest ios App

I've been trying to find a National Forest map app that shows the forest boundaries, state roads & highways. I would like to know if I'm physically in a National Forest or not when I get ready to fly. All I've come across is a few NFS sites with their interactive maps either not detailed enough and/or are topo. If you happen to have an ios or mac app that you've been successful with what I'm looking for, please let me know. I would sincerely appreciate it. Thank You Ray

Caltopo has a variety of options on layers to display. Here is one that uses MapBuilder roads as the base layer and an overlay showing public lands (different colors).

There are a lot of other possibilities as well - this is just one.

On X Off Road and On X Hunt are great apps and show private/public land boundaries.

It is obvious but I would first start with a Google map search for the area you are interested in.

Paper maps published by the USFS are good.

Thanks for the help.. I jumped over on their site and took a quick look. Looks like their maps are very detailed along with pin pointing your position. I'll take a deeper look. Thanks again

Thanks for the help. I have looked at Google in which there are some decent detail which is actually better than the NFS maps I've seen on line. The problem with a lot of sites is that they have more topo options. Just printing the boundaries with streets would be a great help. Thanks again.
