Need help...GPS Line and video

Ok so let me try and explain this. I work with a non profit building trails. We have a new trail coming up that we will be putting in. We flew over some of the are the other day. I am wondering if there is any way to take the GIS data line of where the new trail will be and lay that into the video we took so someone could have a visual red line on the video showing where the new trail will be. Does this make sense. The red line would be fixed to the ground and stay in one spot with the land as the drone video flies over the terrain.

Do you have visual GCP's in your footage?

Not actual GPS markers, but it doesn't have to be exact either, The footage has some dirt roads and access points that could be used as markers based on the GIS data from Google earth maybe
