I visited a friend in Ajo years ago and part of the fun was to go and look at the big hole. This was before I had a drone. Then the water in the bottom was a beautiful copper blue.

I visited a friend in Ajo years ago and part of the fun was to go and look at the big hole. This was before I had a drone. Then the water in the bottom was a beautiful copper blue.

We drove by the tailings on our way to boondocking out in the desert and I had no idea what type of mine it was. I sent the drone up next day to check it out. I was blown away when the drone crested the top, never expected anything that deep or large. Kinda reminded me of Meteor Crater but much larger, incredible

What drone did you use? BTW from a former giant scale guy that is a nice Edge 540.

Flew the DJI FPV Drone for this flight, better range and speed than the Avata. Yeah, Edge 540 is my favorite 3D plane!
