I'm up in SEQ a lot working, go down the GC sometimes for a bike ride along the shore there, great to do.
Have flown a little down there, just a lot to watch out for with helis, some no fly zones, and masses of people of course.
Can be hard to find a quiet place to fly and keep to CASA rules.

Enjoy the mini, just watch out for those seaside winds !!

Yes there are 3 heliports and 1 airport and there are quite a few no fly zones and lots of wind but with uav forecast it tells me when i can fly
