Hi Rexster - Cheers from South Australia - I also have just recently converted from my good old original MP1 with nearly 5 years on the logs, to a MA2 - Much better images, simpler controls and smoother than the MP1.
Very happy with it so far.

Glad to have you on board rexster1505. I have the M3 combo, but I had to also buy the MA2 combo as I could not run the apps Maven & Dronelink on the M3. The risk I took. For me the drone is only ½ the story, the other ½ is what I want to do with it. It is a nightmare finding a cost effective software solution, but I settled on the above. Let me know if you need any advice on the subject.

Thanks, one question. Is Maven an Apple app or is it available for Android?

Hi all. I'm in southeast Texas.
Been a member of the Phantom forum for 7-8 years until last spring when a house fire destroyed everything including my Phantom 4 Pro + kit.
I've ordered the Mavic Air 2 combo kit. Should be here next weekend.
I've not flown a drone since August 2020 due to a bad case of shingles that affected my entire right arm and hand. The results made it hard for me to use my right hand for any "fine" movements.
Anyways, anticipating getting back in the air with my Air 2
