Thanks for the warm welcome all, I appreciate it. it's good to find an active forum.

Manual flying i'm pretty good with, it's using the automated modes where drone goes smack

This repair was quite straightforward. the most difficult part was how to thread the new ribbon through, but i like a good challenge.
