Hi
Recently bought the Mavic Pro at the end of January 2018. Great machine.

But I am having an annoying problem with a nexus 7(2013) tablet with the video feed breaking up.
First DJI Go4 app I installed was version 4.2.4 on the tablet. Did first flight no firmware updates needed, no problems whatsoever, video feed superb.

Second flight, Nexus had updated to version 4.2.6 of DJI Go4 and was telling me to update firmware in controller and mavic to a newer version V01.04.0300. Did that but now video feed is dropping out. Should not have upgraded, but did not know at the time.

Did some research and turned off video cache, put Nexus into developer mode and a few other things, but 4 flights later still having the same problem with the Nexus.

Been thinking of a few options, like sideloading version 4.2.4 back onto the Nexus (where would I find it and would it not work with the latest firmwareV01.04.0300?) or would it be worth rolling back from Marshmallow to lollipop on the Nexus?

I have a work Ipad Mini 2, but slightly reluctant to try that at the moment.

You can find additional tips here.

Thanks msinger, that is one of the places that I found and followed.

Just trying to find old versions of the DJI Go4 app for Android and came across this.
DJI TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD APKs - APKMirror

There is a newer app available version 4.2.8 of Go4. Anyone have any info on this, worth trying?

You aren't obliged to keep updating the app, turn auto updates for it off on the google play page.
Try the nearest older .apk version you can find, it will most likely be fine.
It will probably be much less glitchy if you turn off the app video cache, also a top quality short-ish cable might help.
Make sure nothing else is running, restart just before flight will help.
