Is this a feature reserved for the air 2s
They claim an omni directional 360 Obstacle avoidance even in low light

But I don't see nearly anyone talking about this !
So has the obstacle avoidance improved over something like the air 2s ? I do fly at night from time to time for my events and shoots, and aside from the front facing lidar will the drone avoide obstacles at low light ?????
This scenario for example and lighting conditions....

Second question, it was a deal breaker not having night mode in the air 3s, i know u can shoot at higher iso, but am after the clean final look we got from the air 3 and m3pro

If I simply use something like neat video in POST will i be able to replicate same results of the air 3 night mode ?...

I can't answer your questions, but the video was wonderful. Whatever the festival was, it sure beats the local County Fair or Firemen's Picnic.

All the OA will not work in very low light except for the Lidar on the Air 3S.
Mmmmm am pretty sure the reel is posted says the opposite, just not sure how low the light can be...

Any one tried to denoise footage out of the air 3s at night ? How did it turn ??...

What the reel says is,

"As the first DJI drone with forward-facing LiDAR, the #DJIAir3S offers enhanced omnidirectional obstacle avoidance, ensuring safe flights even at night."

It is only the forward facing LIDAR that is being used to enhance the normal OA, which remains unchanged. The forward facing LIDAR is not illumination dependent, so it can still work in the dark, which was effectively what was being demonstrated in the reel, as it was already too dark for the omnidirectional OA sensors to function.

…and the LIDAR is only forward facing, but that is helpful enough with barely sufficient light to see where you are flying. Just don't get too creative and fly backwards or sideways or even straight up!
