Hi All, just try to get my head around some of casa approved apps to fly...
l picked and area that is relative near sale air base in Vic...GlenMaggie lake as an example
ok2fly says go right ahead...but the AirMap says that l have to submit a request before flying..
lf l submit my request in AirMap would it come back approved as in ok2fly?
trying to do the right thing but it’s a little confusing...just like to understand it better so l can apply it to other places..

GlenMaggie weir is close to the boundary of 3 different lots of controlled airspace, but all of them have a lower limit of 4000ft or higher and are only activated by NOTAM. It can be confusing as some of the systems designed for drone pilots just show all limited air space and assume it starts at ground level. I find Aircheck the best source for finding restricted airspace, but then you have to be prepared to view NOTAMS as well.

Hi Bushie, Tks for the reply...
so what l can understand is that the airspace
R359D RA2 4000 FLT210....means lower limit 4000 and upper 21000 ft is that correct.
