I was out on a mission last night with the dji mavic 3 enterprices. During this mission a got a warnig for overheated batteries. And I lost the connection with the drone. The drone lowered the hight until it landed in a buch. I was 30 meter from the drone and the temp outside was -17 degree celsius. I tought it was a bit strange that it was overheated in these temeratures, and I was also supriced that it went directly down and did not return to home. Do someone has experiensed the same and what is the reason for this fail?

I had one battery give me a warning about overheating and power being reduced.
This happened three times and the flight data showed battery temperatures never exceeding those with other batteries in similar air temperatures.
I deduced that the warning was a false alarm.
On showing DJI the data, they confirmed this was the case and replaced the battery.
DJI told me they had seen something similar a few times, involving a failure in the battery's system for communicating with the drone.

If you could post flight data from the problem flight and another flight in similar conditions, I could check battery temps in the data to see if the battery was actually overheating or if it was a false alarm.
I'd suggest marking the battery to id it and doing a couple of careful flights in safe conditions to see if the incident repeats.
