Newbie here, i have to pair my pro Controller to my drone (M2P) every time. you would think it would remember it??? have I missed something somewhere????

Just for clarity, what do you mean by "pro Controller", can you give the model number?

By "Pro controller" I hope you mean the remote that comes with the M2 series models. M2 uses Occusync 2 whereas the M1 remote is Occusync 1 and not compatible.

The M2 can only bind with 1 remote at a time, two if you specify the 2nd as a secondary/slave, and the remote can only bind to one M2 at a time.

If you have only one M2 AC and one M2 remote and they aren't holding a binding, you can try refreshing the firmware on both. However it's rare the binding doesn't hold so if firmware update/refresh doesn't work, you'll need a repair of either one or both.

I have the Mavric 2 Pro, also the Pro controller that has the screen built in. The controller doesn't seem to remember the Drone so I need to pair it.

Do you lose pairing with SC if you subsequently use the standard stock controller as master?

SC may need a firmware refresh or update.

SC = Smart Controller - Controller with integrated Android.
"Screen" was not much of a clue that you were referring to the SC since the standard stock remote for both the M1 and M2 have a small LCD screen for basic telemetry and other info. Very useful when the app fails.

Check to see if the Smart Controller needs a firmware upgrade

I only have the one control.
