I haven’t run into your issue as there aren’t any airports or helo landing zones in my immediate area, closest one is the old Naval Air Station in Brunswick. The Mini is a great drone to learn from and it’s fun to fly! There’s many knowledgeable members willing to help you with any questions you have. I was in the Cape Cod area, and they had lots of rules as to where I could fly.
As a local, in your area, do you have to jump thru hoops to fly?
