Per the MP manual pg 43: "It is recommended to use the Portrait mode for taking photos instead of recording video. When the aircraft is flown in ways that taxes the system, for example , emergency braking or flying in sport mode, the gimbal roll axis will reach its endpoint, and cause the gimbal to vibrate"

1) What actual changes occur in the camera / gimbal when Portrait mode is selected?
2) Anyone use the portrait mode for landscape stills?
Thank you for any reply

Portrait mode physically rotates the camera Gimbal 90 degrees. In essence, I'd use that mode only if I were wanting to produce vid' aimed at mobile phone users exclusively, or - it's also useful for POI rotations of towers - or still photo's of towers.
