Here's a list of prices that have recently been increased in the DJI Store (likely due to increased tariffs). If you're thinking of buying any of these products from other sellers, it would probably be a good time to buy them. We'll likely see these prices go up elsewhere as sellers refresh their stock.

Thanks for the heads up Mike! From what @Thunderdrones was saying the Enterprise products may see a price increase too... Boooo... Stupid trade wars :(

Well, you can't expect chinese companies to wear the cost of the increased tariff. They'll pass it along to their customers. It's a bit like a gov increasing taxes on their citizen indirectly.

I wonder how badly the new tariffs are going to impact the new models of Apple iPhones, iPads and iWatches that are coming out in September. They're all made at Foxconn in China and are one of America's favorite products. That's going to hurt consumers and Apple. Every year Apple fans lineup outside the Apple stores the night before just to buy the newest technology.

Buy American, problem solved.
There are alternatives to DJI made here in America.

BTW, Apple plans to move iPhone production to the USA.

DJI could manufacture their products in the USA just like BMW and Mercedes. Right?

The tariffs are based on products produced and assembled in China and exported to the United States. If an American company produces products in China and imports them, on the quite sure they will be excluded from the tariffs. The people that will be bearing the burden of the tariffs are the American consumer.

Blame the greedy corporate CEOs who offshored manufacturing to China and essentially gave them or IP.

I’d love to see DJI open a USA manufacturing/assembly plant and call center and employ US workers.

There’s no doubt that they are the industry leader in the drone market.

I guess it's more the American mentality to buy cheap and get the best bargain instead of paying a little more for "made in USA" Products. 40 years ago everything was still produced in the USA. It's the choice of the people what they buy. It's our choice! If we don't buy chinese products anymore, they go off the shelves automatically. We forget that it is up to the consumer what we want on the shelves. We all have a lot of power, but the advertising machinery has made us so weak and manipulated us so we just buy what's advertised, instead of what we really need and want. We want American products, so let's buy "Made in USA!" Let's use our power to change what is offered on the shelves!

With the exception of the SC, and a couple of other controllers, this list is chiefly accessories.

Another question is what happens to the prices when the trade war ends?
Does DJI lower the prices? If so, prices lowered to pre price hike levels?

Not sure any company would go all the way back to pre price hike levels unless sales were being impacted. It's reasonable to reduce them on a promotional basis, but not all the way back. Most people don't pay attention to the tariff details, and may just assume the increase is inflation.

The Tariff rate will absolutely hurt any company that builds it's products in China. Apple will get hit too which is absolutely the point of the Tariff's. Apple can move it's production somewhere else. Again, that's the entire point of a tariff. So yes, If you want to buy an apple product that is imported from China it's going to cost you more. If you want to buy a SC from DJI you will pay a premium or buy it used. This is an opportunity for companies that are competing with the Chinese companies to take advantage.

If DJI actually had a competitor this would be the time to move forward. They don't.. Their closest competitor is Autel (Chinese company) and then what Yuneec... also a Chinese company.

Yep - price is going up.

Wlouldn't matter. The parts would still be made in China. The tarrif would then be on the parts. In the end, the same result. We pay for trump's tantrums.

What? 'Must buy a SC before it's too late!'. Im j/k ;)
I would want to know that if I was buying ones
so thanks MVH.

Is DJI store still selling the Zoom and Smart Controller Combo?
I thought that looked good value

Do you have a source for that? I know there has been discussion of shifting some of their computer manufacturing to the US but not iPhones. The Wisconsin Foxconn project appears to be stalling. Just curious. I listen to all the Apple earnings calls and had not heard anything about US phone production.
