Here is a picture of a controller that the owner said got caught in a rainstorm for an hour or 2. I always thought the controllers were relatively weatherproof but this one has had its day. The battery connector is all corroded and can't be repaired without replacing the whole controller board and the power button doesn't work any longer.

If you are going to go out into the weather even if it's just misting outside try to keep your controller dry.

Thanks for the picture of the carnage that's a good tip I have flown in the rain as well but now I'll have to rethink my strategy for next time.
