Okay so I was worried that my tablet was draining my RC way too fast, so I bought a portable charger and a tablet stand for the RC. Plug the tablet/phone into the lower USB and plug the backup battery to the port on the left side of the RC. When you start with everything at 100% charge, your tablet and RC will have 100% while the backup battery is only down to 61% and that is with two full Mavic batteries run down to below 10% charge. So in theory you could possibly run through 4 mavic batteries and still be at 100% on the RC and your tablet/phone. This might be an option for some folks looking to extend RC battery life. If you are worrird about the extra weight, its really not that bad but you could always bring a foldable chair and set it on your lap as well. Be glad to hear any comments good or bad, I'm a total novice just trying to find what works!Capture%2B_2019-04-07-11-48-17.jpegCapture%2B_2019-04-07-11-37-31.jpegCapture%2B_2019-04-07-11-38-02.jpeg20190407_114159~2.jpeg20190407_110735_HDR.jpeg20190407_110810_HDR.jpeg20190407_111040_HDR~2.jpeg20190407_110924_HDR.jpeg

That’s pretty nifty! There are some people that have reported issues using the remote while charging it but I do this regularly with an issue. What power bank is that? Does it have wireless charging tobthe device? When I first looked at this I thought you were charging the device wirelessly which would also work since if the device is fully charged it won’t draw power from the remote.

Its an android tablet and it charges from the big usb plug on the bottom of the RC. The backup battery is plugged into the micro usb port on the left side of the RC. The backup battery charges the RC while the RC charges the tablet. So both devices will remain 100% until the backup battery has run out.

As far as the backup battery, its a no name brand i picked up at walmart for $10. I figured what the hell it's cheap enough to try bug it actually works!

Ok brett8883 What issues are you having while charging the remote and using it at the same time?

I have no issues what so ever but I have heard some people complain the remote does weird stuff while charging so just keep an eye out. Mine works perfectly fine while charging.
