RC won' turn on

Mavic arrived yesterday, fully charged today but RC wont turn on, pressed once then again and held for up to 10secs PLEASE HELP

Is anything displaying on the LED screen? (i.e. Charging, Connecting, etc.)

When I press first display is BATT 100 PCT then when I press and hold nothing

Try pressing the button faster the second time.

The Mavic remotes are a little "touchy" on the 2nd press try not holding it so long

Reply @msinger post above...these controllers are like the Phantom, they are a little touchy

"Connecting" usually means the remote controller is powered on, but is not connected to the mobile device. If you're using the bottom USB port, make sure the cable is unplugged from the left side. Also, check that the cable is fully inserted into your mobile device. Or, are you saying the remote controller powers off when you release the power button?

• Press the power button and release it quickly
• Press it again right away and hold it in for 2 seconds
• Release the power button

I am experienced pilot, I know how to start remote. As I have mentioned above, ress once *(batt 100 pct) and then press and hold (connecting) and when I release it RC is off

You cannot alter the firmware on the remote controller while it's powered down.

@iselebaj I'll bet you a case of beer that there is nothing wrong with that remote. I & many others have had an initial difficult time "powering up" the Mavic RC, especially us that have/had Phantoms.

I have two p3p and never had this issue. magic was working great till this morning and now this stupid rc failed

Iselebaj...I too have a bunch of DJI products, but 1 out of every 5 times that I turn on my Mavic remote I have the same occurrence as you. I think its because I find myself switch back & forth between drones and the 2nd press timing on the Mavic is much shorter than the Phantoms or Inspire.

On the 2nd press when it says "Connecting", wait for the <<<>>> to go the width of the LED screen.
