Up until recently I carefully gripped the antennae and extended it/them, then tried to grasp the phone's plug, with my indelicate fingers I often found more then one attempt was necessary.
But one day in a not so careful antennae extending I snagged the phone plug with a fingernail, voila out came the plug, I now deliberately snag the phone's plug when extending the antennae.
