I've said it before on other threads but Apple Store in store pickup is the way to go. Will tell you it's backordered for months, but the reality is you will get the next one they ship to the store. I got mine in 5 days 2 weeks before Christmas. I don't think that is unique as I read other make similar comments which is why I knew about this "trick".
