A flight above and around Redbrook Reservoir on Marsden Moor in West Yorkshire, England.
Although a very hot and sunny day there was a 'haze' in the air probably due to pollution.

If you took that video in the past couple of days the haze was almost certainly due to dust particles picked up from the Sahara Desert and brought to you on the wind that has been blowing from there. Where I live we occasionally get a very much denser version of that.

I thought as much. The flight was yesterday. I saw something about it on the news the other day.
