I was prompted for a firmware upgrade, nothing unusual, so I went thru the standard process upgrading both the controller and the M2Z. Following the upgrade, the gimble would go thru it’s start up check and then fail with a “remove gimbal clamp” error. I have DJI care so I sent it in, and I assume they will take care of it. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this. (If this had already been discussed, my apologies in advance. I searched and did not see anything, but my search skills are not great)

You didn't mention but I guess you DID (during the update) remove the cover! (didn't you) ?

Yep. The cover was not on. I have had my M2Z since it first came out, so I guess about a year ... not a newbie. I was thinking it’s a bug in the firmware or something.
