All you have to do is turn on your cell phone and with your drone flying nearby, search for WiFi connections. The RID # on WiFi should show up if active. Drone has to be flying in the air for it to transmit the RID on WiFi. It may take up to a minute of flight before the RID WiFi connection shows up.
