Mavic Mini, 14 satellites showing, fully charged ,and Home Point updated.
Firmware updated.
No RTH button showing on iPhone. Controller RTH button does not RTH.
No round icon on the the bottom center of the iPhone screen that
shows the controller in relation to the drone.
When trying to land the drone there is no option to RTH.
Its says the aircraft will land at its current location-fly with caution.

Does the drone need to be a certain distance from the controller for RTH button to show or what am I missing?

Best,
Cabut

How close was the aircraft to the home point when you attempted to use RTH?

From the Mavic Mini manual:
"If the aircraft is less than 20 m from the Home Point when the RTH procedure begins, it lands immediately"

Welcome.

Is the drone new to you?
From where did you get the control app?
Have a read of
retrieve the .txt flight log from the phone and upload it to
then post the resulting URL here.

Thank you. I was less than 20m in altitude

Yes it is original to me.
I downloaded it from the App Store
The iTunes is no more on my iPhone 15. Will Music work?

The RTH is working now.
I reinstalled the DJI Fly app first. Then flew it above 20m and the RTH button appeared on the iPhone.

Still, no round icon on the the bottom center of the iPhone screen that
shows the controller in relation to the drone.

Thanks all!

The feature you are talking about shows different things which change when you tap it.
Experiment to see how it works.

Flew it "above" 20m, dont you mean you flew it away from you more than 20M?

Is not above 20m the same as away 20m, up, down, sideways it's all away, it's not the direction that matters, it's the distance.
No ... it's not the same.
When the manual talks about things like distance away and how it affects RTH behaviour, the height is irrelevant and the horizontal distance from the homepoint is what matters.
It's the horizontal distance you see on your screen too and that doesn''t change if you ascend or descend.

Ok, thanks.
So if I wait till HP is set and go straight up to 120m, will RTH not work?

I'm not sure what you mean by RTH will not work.
Are you thinking the drone would just stay up there?

I'd suggest reading the manual for your drone to find out about its RTH behaviour.
It's a very important section to understand.

Ok thanks, sorry, what I am asking is if the drone is under 20m away and you hit RTH it will just land where it is, ok, if you go up to 120m and are still under 20m away, will the drone just land where it is.
I have read manual several times and am half as thick as a brick.

Distance from home is horizontal, not vertical. Vertical is altitude above home point elevation.

I think you have a Mini 4 pro.
DJI have changed some details of RTH for your model from what previous models have done in the past.
Here's what the manual says:
When RTH begins:
  1. If the RTH distance (the horizontal distance between the aircraft and the Home Point) is farther than 50 m, the aircraft adjusts its orientation and flies backward for 50 m on its original flight route before entering Preset RTH.
  2. If the RTH distance is farther than 5 m but less than 50 m, it adjusts its orientation and flies to the Home Point in a straight line at the current altitude.
  3. The aircraft lands immediately if the RTH distance is less than 5 m.
The aircraft begins to land when it reaches above the Home Point.

In the situation you asked about, the answer is in point 2 above.
