I am still not sure what happened first, but I was experiencing gusty wind, very little satellite connectivity, and no real good visual contact. The drone moved to the left on its own, (no stick movements). See: "Wolf Creek Falls Take 1" on this Forum. (Video Showcase).Bottom line (no pun intended), what was the cause of the crash? I have an M2P and want to know.
I had this phenomenon happen once before while shooting the footage of: Toketee Falls Part 3. See: Lee Peachey Productions, (my YouTube Channel). You will see the drone move rapidly from side to side without any pilot input. There again as is the case in the deep canyons of Oregon, I had very little GPS control.
But......some of the best video footage is captured where no one has flown before. That is called, "Risky maneuvers". The Adrenaline Rush will eventually happen to most Drone Pilots..................
